This grape variety is one of the main varieties in Austria, but is also increasingly popular in many other regions.
The Lattenberger Blauer Zweigelt is aged 100% in used, mostly six- to eight-year-old barriques. It convinces by its distinctive color as well as by its very fine fruit components.
On the nose it is very multifruity, dominated by sour cherry, plum and currant, with a finely integrated wood aroma. On the palate, its delicacy comes to the fore. A beautiful balance and harmony characterizes the wine.
