Pinot Noir is the most important red wine variety on Lake Zurich and thus also on the Rebhalde organic vineyard. Documented as having been planted for the first time on Lake Zurich in 884, the variety has triumphed over the centuries. When one speaks of Clevner or Blauburgunder, one always means Pinot Noir. This Pinot consists exclusively of the single vineyard Frohberg. The Frohberg Clevner is a Pinot Noir developed as a Clevner style. A bright, very light red wine with fresh aromas of raspberry, cassis, plum as well as light strawberry notes and a tangy acidity. Lightly chilled, it fits perfectly on any summer day.
