Syrah, Malbec and Grenache Noir blended together - a very special assemblage. All three varieties are actually mainly at home in the south of France. With greatly reduced yields, however, they also produce a top quality wine here.
A wine that perfectly embodies our motto "Cold Climate Wines". Aged in used barriques, this cuvée fascinates with wonderful fruit components as well as finely integrated tannins.
- consists of 50% Malbec, 40% Syrah and 10% Grenache Noir.
- Malbec: Grapes harvested slightly earlier, macerated after harvest using the "caviar" method. After fermentation, the must is left to stand for seven days at 20 degrees Celsius to obtain a more complex tannic structure.
- Syrah and Grenache Noir: harvested together and fermented according to "traditional" maceration method
- pressed, blended in steel tank and put in barriques for one year for malolactic fermentation
- taken out of barrel in July, bottled in August 2023
