Pinot Noir is the most important red wine variety on Lake Zurich and thus also on the Rebhalde organic vineyard. Documented as having been planted for the first time on Lake Zurich in 884, the variety has triumphed over the centuries. When one speaks of Clevner or Blauburgunder, one always means Pinot Noir.
This Pinot Noir combines the best sites of the vintage as well as the most beautiful barrels. Selections and decisions are made in the vineyard on the one hand, and in the cellar on the other. The result is a full-bodied, full-bodied and mature Pinot Noir, which despite its age is not yet at its peak.
- Grapes fermented "traditionally" after harvest, pressed and placed in 2500-liter wooden barrels for one year, then in barriques for another three years.
- drawn off in July, bottled in August 2020, then aging in bottle until ready to drink
