Pinot Noir is the most important red wine variety on Lake Zurich and thus also on the Rebhalde organic vineyard. Documented as having been planted for the first time on Lake Zurich in 884, the variety has triumphed over the centuries. When people speak of Clevner or Blauburgunder, they always mean Pinot Noir.
We dry these Pinot Noir grapes on straw until they become raisins. In this way, we achieve a natural high concentration, as far as ingredients as well as aromas are concerned. After stopped fermentation, it is aged for two years in used barriques before being released for sale.
A true explosion of flavors, where tannins and sweetness are in balance. Wine that will give pleasure for decades.
